It will outline the scale of the technical and the national challenges and how we need to deploy deeply technical offensively minded communities more than ever. This includes the balance we need to reach and the short-term disruption risks.
In addition, the incentives and support which exists today will be explored along with the opportunities and actions that will be needed to ensure the future health of the eco-system.
The talk will close out with a number of technical problems for which we have no good answers…
Ollie Whitehouse is the CTO of the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre where he is responsible for maintaining the NCSC’s role as the National Technical Authority for cyber security. His career spans over 30 years in applied cyber-attack and defence in addition to being a science advisor to wider government.
